Еще во вторник работники компании Microsoft сообщили о том, что Microsoft выпустит раннюю версию своего будущего настольного браузера Internet Explorer 9. И компания действительно выпустила ее. Новинка получила название IE9 Platform Preview. Правда, пока она ориентирована лишь на разработчиков.
В Сети Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview можно найти на сайте ietestdrive.com. В записке к выпуску браузера Microsoft написала, что Platform Preview является лишь ранним взглядом на Internet Explorer 9, поэтому работа над некоторыми возможностями еще незакончена, некоторые возможности еще могут измениться, а некоторые еще могут быть добавлены. Пока браузер не содержит полноценного пользовательского интерфейса, но при этом он позволяет разработчикам протестировать новый движок javascript и поддержку HTML5/CSS3. Для своей работы Internet Explorer Platform Preview требует наличия Windows 7 или Windows Vista SP2. И хотя, сам браузер пока доступен лишь в 32-х битной версии, он будет работать и под 64-х битными Vista и 7. А вот владельцы XP новинку установить у себя не смогут (Microsoft объяснила это возможностями браузера, технологии для которых доступны только в Windows 7 и Vista). Кстати, пользователи Vista тоже смогут установить браузер лишь при наличии установленных Windows Internet Explorer 8 и DirectX 2D (D2D). Напомню, что Internet Explorer 9 был представлен еще на PDC 2009. По словам Microsoft, новый браузер получит преимущества рендеринга страничек на мощностях GPU. Кроме того, для улучшения совместимости и поддержки стандартов браузер получит новый движок JS, пока получивший кодовое название Chakra. Также за счет дополнительных возможностей управления должен быть улучшен вкладочный просмотр. И, самое главное, IE9 должен получить расширенную поддержку HTML5. Новые версии Internet Explorer Platform Preview компания Microsoft планирует выпускать через каждые 8 недель. Правда о выпуске бета-версии браузера компания пока говорит уклончиво. По словам Microsoft, выпуск Internet Explorer 9 Beta состоится тогда, когда отзывы по выпускам Platform Preview станут свидетельствовать о высоком качестве веб-платформы, и о том, что ее можно использовать для ежедневного просмотра Веб. I am still smoking cigarettes as I have had some issues with the e-cig and its paraphanalia being a bit undependable. In the near future, and with the help of the e-cig, I hope to be able to quit tobacco cigarettes entirely. I have smoked cigarettes for 45 years. With the e-cig, I have been able to reduce the number of cigarettes I smoke daily by more than one-half. =)
